The last race weekend of the season!  It's been a long, fun season ... funny it ends in Phoenix. We are racing west for the first time.  Since it's so late in the season most other organizations are finished for the year so the turn out is large.  Once again I am methodical in my approach to a race weekend, putting all the pieces together for a good run at certain races on Sunday.  No problem getting to the 1:01's run 1:02's all day Saturday on toasted tire.  Feel good head down ready to go to work Sunday.  Go out in the first warm-up session and on the second lap blow the tranny.  The bike will not come out of second gear, weekend done!  Pat and Brian are nice enough to let me race their bikes and actually run tons of 1:02's on 3 different bikes.  Weekend done, season done, shitty way to end the season.
